There is a demand for cooperation with farmers and local residents to maintain the irrigation and drainage facilities. In this study, we analyzed and evaluated the factor of local residents apos; participation in the maintenance works of irrigation and drainage facilities, using a questionnaire survey. As a result, we found that these are important to notify the works, to explain about the multi-purpose function of these facilities, and to plan the appropriate operation work for promoting local residents participate in the irrigation and drainage facilities apos; maintenance works. |
