초록 | Poly(lactic acid) (PLA)/carbon nanofiber (CNF) composites with different CNF contents (0.5 wt% and 1 wt%) were prepared by solution blending. Isothermal crystallization of the PLA/CNF composites and the pristine PLA was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry and analyzed based on the Avrami equation. The crystallization half-times of the PLA/CNF composites were smaller than that of pristine PLA, indicating that the CNF embedded in the PLA matrix enhanced the PLA crystallization rate. Avrami exponents of the PLA/CNF composites were within the range 2.3-3.0, suggesting that a mixture of two- and three-dimensional crystals was formed by heterogeneous nucleation. Polarized optical microscopy images showed that the crystalline morphology of the PLA/CNF composites looked like small grains. Tensile tests indicated that the tensile modulus and strength of the PLA/CNF composites were higher than those of pristine PLA. |
