In this study, biological treatment of Seafood wastewater using moving-bed bioreactor (MBBR), that is consisted of anaerobic, aerobic-1 and aerobic-2 packed with Polyurethane-Activated carbon media. As the result, anaerobic-aerobic treatment systems were effective in reducing COD and nutrient from seafood wastewater. In addition, PU-AC media mighyly improved a biodegradability of nutrient wastewater in MBBR. COD and TN, TP removal efficiency was 83.6%, 75.7%, 76.7% by MBBR. In conclusion, MBBR system was a better treatment system than that of activated sludge process. |
