| 초록 | Gastrocolic fistula is an uncommon complication caused by benign or malignant diseases on the stomach or colon. It was known to occur in gastric ulcer, trauma and infection. However, recent studies indicate that the malignant diseases such as stomach cancer and colon cancer emerged as a main causative factor. Gastrocolic fistula is likely to be most commonly diagnosed by barium enema, and occasionally detected by the upper gastrointestinal series or endoscopy. Recently, incidence of gastrocolic fistula is decreased due to early diagnosis of stomach or colon cancer. We report a case of gastrocolic fistula in a patient with transverse colon cancer found by both barium enema and upper gastrointestinal series. |
