1. The solar simulator housing must be contained an lamp X-Y-Z lamp focusing assembly arc lamp ignitor optical system and a light shutter system. It is equipped with a safety inter lock and a thermal interlock system to ensure operator and system safety. An integral fan provides air cooling to ensure optimum lamp optics and housing temperatures. 2. The lamp is surrounded by an ellipsoidal reflector which collects more than 70% of the energy emitted by the lamp. The result is an intense spectrally filtered uniform collimated beam. and simulate a wide variety of solar spectra with easily interchangeable " air mass "filters. 3. This energy is reflected in a converging beam onto a 45 Degree dichroic mirror that lectively reflects the desired spectral energy to a focused point on the beam homogenizer reflects off a 45 degree full reflecting mirror and is transmitted through a collimating lens. 4. The solar simulator must be matched the spectral match the uniformity the temporal stability defined by IEC60904-9 2007 edition Standard (Class AAA) |
