Nucleic acids are immobilized onto paramagnetic microparticles using specific buffer conditions. Sample contaminants are easily removed without the need for centrifugation or filtration creating an automation-friendly format. Unlike systems that use silica-based particles SPRI-TE features high-performance paramagnetic beads that produce highly robust reproducible and efficent nucleic acid extraction results. The unique properties of our paramagnetic beads eliminate the need for centrifugation or filtration while enhancing stability and binding capacity. The increased performance of SPRI technology is the result of the unique properties of the chemistry and microparticles used in the SPRI-based reagent system.
