| 시설장비 설명 | Proton EDM (pEDM) experiment will be done in a ring of 250 or 800m long electric storage ring. Like all EDM experiments, the external magnetic field should be shielded extremely well. The shielding requirement of pEDM experiment is 0.1-1 nT. This study aims to understand the technical challenges and develop the magnetic shields to achieve <1 nT level. We will start the R&D with a relatively simple prototype, being sold by a Germany-based company (Fierlinger Magnetics). |
